Use the form below to send compliments or complaints about the activities of our police officers, report criminal or suspicious activities, suggestions for improving the police department in general, or anything else you would like to share with us.
Please DO NOT USE THE FORM to report urgent situations that should be reported by calling 911.
We
generally discourage anonymous tips because of the difficulty in
validating and verifying the information.
That
being said, we realize the importance of receiving information that
might help prevent crime before it happens or interrupt criminal
behavior in process. Sometimes an anonymous tip is the only way we can
learn of criminal activities in time to prevent further theft, harm,
abuse, or damage.
All
submissions are received in a password protected email account
at the Dallas Center Police Department and can be opened only by the
Chief of Police. Absolutely no tracking information accompanies the
email, so we receive nothing that identifies you unless you include it.
In
addition to a thorough description of the situation, please include as
much as possible to help us act on your information,
including names of the suspects and victims, and the names of
anyone who can verify the information or add to it.
